Your Favorite Actors In The Pacific Islands

The Pacific Islands is home to many Hollywood celebrities, writers, and photographers just to name a few. I have made a short list below of some of the notable and my most favorite celebrities that are from the Pacific Islands.

1. Kimberly Jonelle Balmilero, or more famously known as Kimee Balmilero, is a Filipino-American film, television, and stage actress from Kaneohe, Hawaii. When she was only 17 years old, she left Hawaii to join Miss Saigon. She became a part of the well-known musical for almost three years. She was also a part of the Broadway play “Mamma Mia!”

2. Keisha Castle-Hughes is an actress from New Zealand, and she is known for her role as Paikea “Pai” Apirana in the movie “Whale Rider.” She is one of the best actresses in Hollywood nowadays, and she has appeared in many movies such as “Star Wars Epidose III: The Revenge Of The Sith,” “Hey Hey It’s Esther Blueburger,” and “The Vintners Luck” just to name a few.

3. Tia Carrere is a famous Hollywood actress, but she is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. Apart from the fact that she is an actress, Tia Carrere is also a singer. She released Dream, her solo album, in 1993. It became a big hit in the Philippines, and it went platinum. The singer/actress has also appeared in many movies including “Wayne’s World 1 and 2,” “Hollow Point,” and “Top Of The World” among others.

4. Quenton Allan Brocka is a famous television and film director in America, but he was born and raised in Guam. Brocka became interested with creating movies at a very young age and since then, he became one of the best directors in Hollywood. The first film that he released was “Rick & Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple In All The World.”
